Founded in 1982, it comprises
children and youngsters aged 4 to 18 (vocalists and ensemble)
and it is the laureate of many international and national
festivals. The
repertory of the ensemble is made up of classical dances,
modern dances, stylized Romanian dances, character dances
(Turkish, Spanish, Peruan, Hungarian dances, etc).
The members of the modern
and classical ballet ensemble have particippated of cultural
exchanges with ballet school for children from France, Italy,
Canada, Iordania.
The "Arabesc" ensemble has
also participated in international festivals in Turkey,
Germany, Iordania, South Coreea, Hungary, Canada.
Radio and TV shows
"Around the world in 80
minutes" - Educational and partnership project initiated by
the National Palace of Children in cooperation with the
Foundation for children and youth "Our friends and we" - in
partnership with the Embassies and the Cultural Institutes of
France, Italy, Germany, Great Britain. Turkey, Iordania,
India, Spain, Hungary, Peru.
The municipal contest
"Bucharest Trophy" - Choreography Section in cooperation with
Ilfov and the district clubs, where the vocalists and the
ensemble won the first prize. |
Cooperation activities with the
School Inspectorate of Bucharest, Cultural Institutes,
Embassies, International High Schools, Town Halls: "The
Francophony " (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007), The European Languages
Symphony" (24th September 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007), Show

The most
talented members of "Arabesc" ensemble have become
professional ballet dancers performing both in the country and
abourd.
The
Foundation for Children and Youth "Our Friends and we"
permanently supports the artistic activity of the "Arabesc"
ensemble and gets directly involved in finding sponsors for
the projects of this group of dancing children.
